ANOTHER DAY/ANOTHER TIME: CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS is a documentary inspired by and including music from the new Coen Brothers film INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, which is set in the Greenwich Village folk scene of the early 1960s. Shot live during an acclaimed one-night benefit concert for the National Recording Preservation Foundation, the film is a cross-generational celebration of folk, brimming with performances by legends and rising stars from both folk and contemporary music—including Joan Baez, Patti Smith, Jack White, Marcus Mumford, The Avett Brothers, Rhiannon Giddens, Punch Brothers, Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings Machine, Willie Watson, The Milk Carton Kids, Colin Meloy, Lake Street Dive, and the star of INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, Oscar Isaac. At once a passionate tribute to folk’s rich history and a generous showcase of its newest artists, ANOTHER DAY/ANOTHER TIME, filmed at New York’s iconic Town Hall, is infused with the transportive sound of another time and place. Directed by Chris Wilcha and produced by INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS writer/director/producers Joel and Ethan Coen, executive music producer T Bone Burnett, and producer Scott Rudin, the star-studded documentary reunites Burnett and the Coens, together the creators of O Brother, Where Art Thou?
